Adaptogen Bundle

Adaptogens are herbs that help the body adapt to stress. This is a scientific term rather than a traditional term. All herbs that are called adaptogens must have an effect on the endocrine system. In this bundle, you will receive three audio recordings of live classes offered in Vermont. Each class deals with one herb – ashwaghanda, shatavari, and tulsi.

Ginseng Root

1 x Ashwagandha Audio Class

Sometimes referred to as Indian Ginseng, this Ayurvedic herb is a potent adaptogen that is appropriate for far more people than Ginseng. Find out why ashwagandha is Melissa's favorite adaptogen. This is an audio recording from a live class offered in 2016. It is lightly edited and is 1 hour 17 minutes long. For more information about ashwagandha, see:

1 x Shatavari Audio Class

Shatavari is an Ayurvedic herb that has not quite jumped into Western Herbalism's Materia Medica. This is unfortunate because it is a wonderfully tasty herb that is the premier women's tonic in Ayurveda. It is appropriate for women in all phases of life and is easy to blend with chocolate in various ways for a tasty treat. Shatavari is a close relative to asparagus.
